Proofreading is exactly as it sounds: reading a ‘proof’. I will take your formatted or designed work, or website and check the quality, accuracy and consistency of spelling, punctuation, formatting, layout and images.

Proofreading happens after copy-editing and is usually done on PDFs of your designed document or unpublished webpage using comment boxes or a table of corrections.

I work with both authors and designers on documents as small as brochures through to large pieces like annual reports, presentations and large websites.
